I did wonder Dave, as the first pic it looked like the wagon was loading off a radial elevator (used for stockpiling). Loading under a screener doesn’t happen much anymore; I haven’t done since I was dumper driving in late’98.
Those pics were taken in the 1980’s Nathan,by John Cross who drove the lorry from new.

ex Army Hydrema digger, bloody awful thing.
by contrast the Hydrema dumpers are a nice piece of kit, quite often move these singly or in pairs (got one on for tomorrow)

Faithful old Hitachi 13t, had a pair of these on the fleet. Both good as gold were due for change 4 years ago but kept on due to recession. One went last year the other only recently.
14t Volvo, one of my first jobs since passing my class 1.
Komatsu 16t rubber duck. Too many buttons to press, used to dread finding it parked with legs and blade down. It was so complicated just to raise them up.
JCB 22t shortly to be disposed of from fleet.

Big 5t lift 13m Cat TH560 telehandler. Poxy thing rolled off the lorry with the handbrake on a London street outside a school once. Thankfully no one hurt or damage done.

The nicest of all the ‘ducks’ we has a Hitachi 13t and a Hitachi 75 which was strange.
Arrrrgh! Sandersson forklifts (ever driven one of their 360s?!) Ford wheeled digger (a naff tractor with digger attachments stuck on) and a 3C (had a go on one of them and it was like sitting in a greenhouse-worth it for the experience).
