the company i work for have just put it in writing that all drivers must show 15mins of checks at the start of every shift.that works out at £15 a week…easy moneyWe get 45 minutes.
You must have bigger trucks…we only get 30 mins! 
On the buses we get 15 minutes to do the checks - as well as the usual things like lights, tyres, bodywork (people havent mentioned that here yet 
) etc we also have to check the bells, seats, emergency exits and fire exinguishers (would be pretty good to test them before leaving the depot )
Takes about 5 minutes, so the remaining 10 mins is ■■■ and coffee time
