I suggest to everyone Google" LGV broker scam" to see how devious and deceptive brokers are.
Like I’ve said before we need to spread the word and now we live in an era with powerful social media tools like Facebook and Twitter we have a great opportunity to do it.
I didn’t use a broker went to training school direct this still didn’t stop the trainer not being good with me
Yes Paul we have been trying this for a while now but still people get caught out alway will as they sit infant of there key boards & just type don’t do any research
The company I went with did have a decent reputation being going a long time still going strong but I could never recommend them
Cheers F-Reds I’m only really going on what I’ve seen in the past in that they were always about on the road so must be pretty busy and drivers I’ve spoke to only had good things to say about them.
I think what Animal and I think ROG also said it earlier is that its more to do with individual trainers rather than the actual schools as everybody learns differently and you won’t get on with everybody in this world.
Elmet Training makes the point of google and social media most people know how to use them so hopefully they’ll shop around and avoid paying more than they have to, look at reviews phone, email or visit first before parting with their money the information is so much more available nowadays.
In the case of paid for training by employers or whatever if they don’t get the results wanted they’d soon go elsewhere to I’d think! good service and reputation speak for themselves in any line of business the cowboys will always be there too but will eventually canter off into the sunset as no one visits their stable anymore.

So let’s keep spreading the word I’ve just published a link on my Elmet Driver Training Facebook page.
I went straight to Class I, so received training from one company. Hence I cant comment on whether or not the training was good or bad compared to others. Id suspect this would be true for others. There were no huge problems with my training. . . after all, I passed. So although we can all comment on perceived short-comings, how do we know if those are due to the particular school or are par for the course? Reading reviews of any service weve all got to be aware of how much experience the reviewer has of alternatives. A gushing review from anyone who passed their test a few hours earlier should be viewed with some scepticism Id say.
And I mean no offence to any of you trainers out there. Just giving an opinion.
