The biggest unanswered (and suitably ignored) question is this…
We have established because we all see on the tv news and those on our streets regularly with our own eyes ( well some of us. ) that the absolute vast majority of these people are young fit men between around 18 to 35…
(The very FEW young familes amongst them I have no problem with at all, as long as they are genuine asylum seekers fitting that criteria.)
Now being that the particular age group is classed as ‘‘of fighting age’’ (ie…in a war,) and IF they actually ARE fleeing their ‘‘war torn country’’ wtf are they doing coming here, leaving their women behind, instead of fighting in that ‘‘war’’.?

Because it is all basically bollcocks, they are purely economic migrants who see an incentive of milk and honey, entrering our country illegally instead of thriough the proper channells.
And still you still see those deluded imbeciles with their ‘‘Refugees welcome here’’ placards…(although definitely NOT welcome in their own homes.)

i believe that the amount prisoners get spent on them for food is £1 a day it certainly used to be. so getting £40.32 per illegal to feed them is luxury in my book
The conversation was about why some choose to come here, rather than be like the others who stop before getting here. The contention was that the UK gives migrants more than other countries. Not whether or not the UK spends more per capita in all costs.
The amount the UK pays in administration per head of migrant is a red-herring.

dunno where you got 40k from as there are over 80,000 prisoners in england and wales.
i just looked it up as of last year it was £2.70 a day per prisoner. so yes i would rather have the 6 pounds its more than i spend on my own food budget.
Yes prisoners can earn money by doing jobs but dont sit there and think that they are on anything like minimum wage… i think the top wage when i was there was about 9 quid a week. the average wage was enough to buy 1/2 ounce of tobacco a packet of cigerette papers and a box of matches.
Yes they can have money sent into their account but so can the illegals from their friends and family they came to this country for.
