He did get a version of Brexit through, it is true.
But was it the Brexit that the Leave campaign were campaigning for? Was it the Brexit that people voted for?
I accept that some ambitions might fall short when delivered, but I maintain that the future promised was never going to happen, and what was delivered was nothing at all like the promises made.
Did anyone at anytime say we would leave the customs union? Anyone? Anytime?
Loads were spouting various Norwegian and Swiss models but none talked about the exit we got, were they.

How much of that is due to his being ill then? Whatever the truth of that, he isn’t ill today.
His being ill then, is irrelevant to Ferrari not challenging him now. Surely the intervening years has given Johnson time to learn the facts?

You can’t really blame anyone if they lose the plot after leaving a job. He is 60 years old and who knows what his condition is. I certainly don’t. Maybe he wasn’t fit at the time of doing the job, but I guess he must have been seen by doctors who thought he was okay.
If that is all true, why is allowed to spread clear untruths far and wide on the media?
Do they give airtime to the bloke who shouts at the seagulls down the park? He too might believe everything he says, but that is no reason to give him publicity.
Journalists and the media do have responsibility for what they choose to publish.
They choose who gets to be heard.
It is not right that they allow obvious lies to go out. Or if obvious lies are told they should be countered.

Yes, his history is addressed in moderation but I’m not convinced that Blair understands the meaning of contrition. Blair’s record is not exactly squeaky clean. That is history.
