He could have been ill and not drunk? A few years ago a van went the wrong way down a one way street in Matlock (he had pulled out of a delivery yard part way down so there were no arrows to see) and he hit several cars. Well this old Dragon came along shouting that he was drunk and stank of booze, odd as we had just been standing by him when he was unloading and we couldn’t smell drink. She tried to slap him while he just stood there sweating and shaking, turned out he was having a Diabetic Hypo so not drunk at all but she kept on trying to belt the poor sod! He ended up in Hospital:?
Agree about the video though, nobody comes out looking good.

It seems odd why he would drive an artic down there.
Is it staged act to get viewings on the internet?
Is the car that got hit only an old MOT failure to make the movie?
If it is a real filming then the trucker was using a car sat nav.

Got to admit I feel sorry for the guy. Nice to see he stood his ground and stood up for himself when he was so obviously gripped by fear. The black guy should be ashamed of himself for trying to hit an older and frailer guy. The person with the camera is a complete waste of breath.

I think it’s genuine mate…just look at the look of fear and worry on the truck drivers face. I’ve felt sorry for him all afternoon having watched this video earlier. As has been said, that prick who took a swing at him was bang out of order. And thats the problem nowadays, people would generally rather stand around and watch things go wrong than try to help out.

I have always used a car sat nav, as I never trust the things to give me directions, just show me the location of my destination. here I am near a wine cellar in beaufort, languedoc-roussillon, not lost or anything, this was the only way out:
imo you can get into some pretty tight places with an artic but there’s no excuse to start the carnage as the gentleman with the volvo has done. always cheaper to get out and look. besides, after the insurance comapny for said volvo has seen the footage, even if the driver is/was sober, they’ll probably claim intentional damage.
i cant feel sorry for him if no one had noticed he would have been gone and left all the carnage behind him,eastern european drivers have no concern for anything they do over here they cause damage park where they want do what they want because they dont care,and at the end of the day probably dont have to pay for there actions either
