Decent trucks those Scanias! Any idea how many litres the tank holds? The newer Scanias only have 200 litre tanks.

That’s probably all this one has. Saves weight I suppose, if on local jobs why carry loads of diesel around?

My new (pre loved  ) ride. They took my MAN away because of a particularly vicious MK1 tacho that was costing me over an hour a day. Can’t believe the difference with this one!

I had the same, when I went from my 07 Volvo to my new Actros last year, I suddenly gained almost 1hr drive time per day doing the same work, and I wasn’t driving quicker before people say that

Totally. If I was doing multi drop or city work in the MAN once I got to 500 km that day I’d have to check the tacho for driving time. Quite often I’d be way over 8 hours, but now I’d be lucky to have passed 7 hours.

Is this the biggest thread ever to hit this site ■■?

Yes, boss is going to get it taken off. Not sure if the company name or the customers’ name is going on the 'visor. I think the trucks are going to be named after British lorries (our artics are named after AECs).
