Pictures of your truck.

BanburyDan:
I’ve been driving this one for the past few days - maybe in something else today, depends whats been taken out already. I prefer the Mercs but the other lads seem to prefer the DAFs.

Clean!? False advertising - look at them wheels tut tut

The stuff inside is clean (and I note with pleasure that the inside of the cabs are also kept pristine!!!) but yes, sometimes you do get muddy at the sites we have to go to. One mainly…thankfully most are on the roadside.

only this one till i start work again on monday, then a new man for a week to start.

you might wonder how all that gravel was in the back, but ive folded the greedy boards away now and taken the blocks out from between the spings and chassis, lol

Mine

as there are quite a few about like this now, ive put a couple of stickers on the sunvisor

usually limited to anywhere between London to the south, Birmingham to the west, Newark to the north, and Lowestoft to the east.
It goes out every night on a trunk to DHL Whitwood and back with another driver.

Used to work for a company that had the ardex contract before welchs some seriously crap deliveries on there

There’s something I like about a shiny Volvo and a DHL aero trailer. Tidy!

this is mine at the moment…

A couple more I’ve been driving recently:

It doesn’t get much tighter than that

My ride, Only a little 420 but pulls her heart out and drives mint, my boss really takes care of our trucks, as you can probably see by my 2000 “W” plate condition, interior also very clean and tidy for age.

Two very bad pictures of mine (well it is at weekends). Drive a mix of things from merc sprinters to daf cfs during the week.

And it wasn’t me who broke the nearside indicator :imp:

Sub depot collection par chance… i do the same at weekends for em 2 … it aint to bad.

It was a good bit of work to have, though I no longer do it now, on the 11th week of it they gave me a completely new run which I had no idea about (and it wasnt loaded in any order at all), and the truck broke down halfway through it so half the drops couldn’t be completed. So whether it was a set up by the agency to avoid the AWR, or they only give you once chance, I’ll never know. Odd thing was I was subbed through 2 agencies, so had to fill out a Driver Hire (who im with) time sheet, and a Mirage timesheet. Im kind of glad I don’t do it now as I’ve got saturdays free again but it was nice to know that I would get at least a days work each week.

The 18t-er was due to come off hire last Friday and sent back as it was costing the firm too much.

Not seen its replacement yet hence no pic, but if you can imagine an ex-DHL Iveco 7.5t with the decals half-scraped off so it looks like a dodgy Irish tatey van (loads of them on these truck auction sites :unamused: ). Transferred from Aberdeen (?), sat in a yard for the last 6 months, been in the workshop for the best part of a week, absolutely minging inside and out so i’ve been told.

Been off this week but that’s what i’ve got to look forward to on Monday.

wire:
It is hard to take interior pictures with a standard camera as i can’t seem to zoom out enough but here we go anyway.

Its a DAF :exclamation:
I recognice the Steering Wheel :grimacing:

Its a DAF
I recognice the Steering Wheel

Lol… You mean it’s a Paccar product, except these Peterbilt ones are bound in real leather instead of plastic like on Dafs.

It doesn’t get much tighter than that

Oh yes it does, try a road where you have to pull both mirrors in

Are you sure you have enough gauges ? No doubt one is for drivers bottom temperature right ? If not you obviously have the poverty spec lesser gauged model ■■
