Only been there 3 weeks. They closed Oxford depot, I think they are building large houses on the site. We are in the site that used to make car seats at Stanford.
Their Oxford depot is being built on…they only had a lot of work done on it about 5 or 6 years ago though. I think it’s a Taylor Wimpey homes site as Ageturs are doing the groundwork there. Has Kenny Haines retired from Timbmets yet? Used to drive for us about 20 years ago…

Not sure I dont know many yet,Dont see any that often as there in and gone in the mornings and if they start early they finish early or do a night out and come back early and go home.
They don’t seem to rush about on there from what I’ve seen (good on 'em)…

Kenny Haines finished at the end of November,not sure if he retired or took redundancy.
Must be at retirement age, his older brother worked for us originally as a driver then static plant op (beltman) and he’s been retired for a good few years.

I’d have that 660 badge off the visor though and the corny Viking Roller thing, but that’s my opinion and it ain’t my truck, each to his own

One more thing, related to the 660 badges, I know they’re a big ego boost and the ultimate in posing, which ■■■■■■ people off, but 400 badges would ■■■■ even more people off as you flew past them on the hills, especially if they had a poxy little 620 Scania
