waits for all the questions
Go on then, I’ll bite, CAT or ■■■■■■■■ Autoshift?
It’s a KW T600 72" Aerodyne, I’d say an 04 or 05 and you run out of KC, pulling van or reefer, I reckon you run mostly east coast as I can’t see any chains hanging down, how am I doing so far
How do you like those wide singles? What tyres are you running back there?
Cat, 500hp. 3.55 ratio, I believe its the 60" sleeper, 2007, reefer, I run mainly ohio to utah, hauling for nestle, chains are on the other side. I love my singles, makes a more comfortable ride. I don’t think it will happen before I quit driving but I can’t wait for disc brakes to be forced unto the market. They’re michelin x green, trying to get the most mpg. I normally pull 79k lbs and still get 7 mpg
60" eh, it did look a bit short for a 72" but I couldn’t remember whether the smaller KW bunk was 58" or bigger so took an unlucky guess and the year too, thought the 07s were T660s Is it pre DPF?
7mpg US, that’s good fuel mileage, especially from a CAT, I’m lucky to get 6mpg out of my 550, mind you it’s in a 379, are those them X one XDA? You running a 10 or 13spd?
Do you run I-70 or I-80?

Mainly 80, I got slightly detoured from the norm and sitting in St Louis at the hook waiting on a 34 hour. I burned thru 70 hours in 5 days. Yes, pre DPF, probably why it gets decent mileage.

Its a lifestyle here. At my company we have one guy who works 7 months out of the year, goes home with 70-80,000 USD, doesnt work for 5 or 6 months. I wish I was someplace a little more exciting to sit for days.

This is me tipping on a farm in wales…Hi Jacko123, we generaly carry bakery waste, as in waste bread, dough and we do a lot of waste food from Quorn factories that make food for veggies. We mainly tip waste bread back at our farm in Huncote, Hertford and a couple of millers oop north too. We do the waste from the old Jordans at Biggleswade wich is now European oat millers, but its all mainly waste food to be milled for animal feeds…
is it you i see regular in EOM Bedford? maybe you was there on monday afternoon, very hectic day at the mill lol

Ant we still have it !!
Its in a bad way though its been parked up for two years now and they tried to MOT it and they blew the engine up coming back from the MOT station . As far as i know its going back on the road sometime in future . We still run out of Foston from time to time . I dont know how they keep going down there nice bunch of lads though
Small world, reg no used to be M2FFP, first semi-auto box I’d driven. Brings back memories.
Always used to have probs with that poxy roller shutter door on the arse end. Think Foston is now a sausage
factory, was fresh and frozen chicken when I was there.
Regards Ant
Yeah when it first arrived it was on private plates its now on a T plate roller doors are fixed … I think . As for that tiptronic gearbox its an ■■■ , its had a new one since and you have to use every gear , correct me if im wrong but i think it has 16 gears . I will get some pics of it when i get chance its sat in another yard with broken windows as it got broke into a couple of weeks back . Only half the engine is in at the minute so im not too sure if it will go back on the road could do with it though we only have the one rigid now and it puts a load on me so ive been watching its progress
This is my 2010 Axor
The boss a also just been handed the keys to another 60 plate Axor Transporter and a brand new Actros unit and trailer, which delivers the various metals
