This is where it gets confusing, our firm own the HETs (heavy equipment transporters) the army lease them from us, I drive and operate them as a civvy and also in green kit as and when the army want me, if we go to Afghanistan and Iraq then we are fully under army rule and are just normal squaddies in the RLC, in the UK and Germany we operate in our firms blue trousers and shirt and treated as civillians, if the army want me then I would be treated like a squaddie and wear combats, 98% of us are ex army anyhow so they is no issues. Its a little like the T.A. the only difference is that I get paid a years salary and its my full time job.

Then click submit and pic should show up then.

Heres two of my recent rides while training for my Aussie truck licence.
For the HR Licence.(Class 2)

After being told by the driving school that Queensland Transport messed up when telling me I had to do HR first, I can skip this and go straight to HC (Class 1) as I hold a UK Class 1.
For the HC Licence.

Test tomorrow. :astonished:

Thanks Chopsticks, will try again with my usual ride, and my other occasional variational ride!!

1 blew up was a y reg and loacals raped it before we had chance to salavge parts. Another jacknifed outside m & s Barnsley on the hill and wraped it round a lampost and the other jackknifed on the a34. Bad weather all 3 killed them off. We got 10 plates rolling through the gates each week to replace them. Do you ever night out there? Should go for a beer if iā€™m home. With me doing long distance iā€™m rarely seen in rugby wed to unday/monday normally seen m74/m6 for scotland sometimes a1/a19/m1 on the way back if i got a collection from sunderland. m1 j19 to m25 to channel tunnel out and dover back to rugby back.

nar mate dnt do nights out on this job am on, pick up birkenhead docks, do couple of deliveries/collections and get the trailer back into irkenhead the same night, still doing 9-10 hours driveā€™s like so its a good shift

Joshh, hereā€™s my latest one

This is the one I had last yesterday. Birmingham down to Romford and back via agency. Back there tonight and, strangely, I hope Iā€™ll have the same :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:
