To be honest their not bad. Ive been with them 18mnths and still enjoy my job, am looking to leave once i have my C+E but that only beacause driving lorries is what i want to do. Yes some days are crap when were busy, things go wrong and the size of the orders are massive but then other days you can have 2hrs waiting time which you can either try and drop early and go home or drag it out (i normally park up somewhere and chill out with book or watch the world go by by the sea) our manager isnt too bothered what we do (within reason) during waiting time. There have been a few changes this year (bascially them trying to get us much out of us as possible) increasing the loads, time on the road, shifts etc and to begin with there were alot of unhappy drivers but it all seems to have settled down now, i havent had a suspected overloaded van for months and to be honest prefer parking up on the road somewhere and having my break in the van rather than in the general staff cafe. The pay isnt wonderful and we do have to go to some awakward places but all in all its not bad getting to paid to drive round the cornish coutryside and i save on gym membership
