Well…my dictionary calls it a fully articulated lorry. I’m not sure if it’s right but that’s the way we haulage here in Finland. Anyways, the cargo was 43 tons of pulp.
Sorry I mean is it all doors ? Rather than a curtain side .

Sure. Curtainsides on from hell…ever tried to open up a one in the winter when the temperature is like minus 20C? They are a bit stiff…
I drive mostly to Db Schenker and in here it is almost a punisment if I have to have a curtainsider. Smaller cargo with a smaller densinity can be loaded and delivered without lashing it down. Sorry my bad English…

What Do You call that container on the lorry…it is interchangable. That is a version of a curtainsider. I change trailers and containers…hmmm…units?
I really don’t know. I just like this Forum 'cause we are all doing the same work.

Thanks for your posts and pictures Phytonen. Working in -20 C and not too much daylight doesn’t sound too appealing…

Well…I live in Finland. It’s not too far a way from Britain. Most of the year the temperature seems to be the same. We have more extreme winter. It has challenges, I admit that. Nevertheless, truckdrivers are like Scouts. Always prepared. At the moment the temperature is plus three. No challenges
Here’s some other pics of my work…

I have a 455 and a 500 and there’s no real difference between the two unless you’re pulling up a mountain or hauling heavy loads. Running at US weights a 500 would be a waste of money.
The warranty is a little bit dearer on the higher power engines, but the whole thing is less than 8grand, so whoever told you that they’re 8grand dearer either has their wires crossed or they’re talking out of their arse…
Aldi self tip idea is uber crap
