Is that kit used for ground stabilisation?
Seen those spreaders spreading cement on poor ground to stiffen it up.

yes mate , we do track stabilisation & site soil stabilisation , it’s a pretty impressive process , have seen a bog of a field we struggled to get the tractors through & within a few hours loaded 8 wheelers were driving on it !

A lot of ■■■■■■■■ screener/crusher fines were used on a job in Oxford a few years back, then the cement was spread on top. I’ve been told they add no water, just the natural moisture in the ground.

we usually spred & mix in lime first if its really wet, that will ■■■■ best part of all the moisture out, the cement is only really added if the track / site is to be a long term thing

The site in Oxford was on a site next to the old loco shed, built up on clay-soil and engine clinker. I bet cement and clinker made a good base.

This is me now …the lure of the European work was too much …

Always liked the Ray White fleet. Bet it’s like you never went away!

Oswestry today.

Mine in the evening :sunglasses:

My current 18t Hiab with cheesewedge ramps. Yes you might notice the different colour bumper. Run in with a low barrier.

Oh aye… The roof. That’s Daf’s fault :imp: Forgot to prop the cab while replacing the ram

Daf have kindly hired this 32t for us. No cheesewedge has been a pain for most of my loads. The extra capacity has its uses though

You timed and positioned that one just right. What a superb photo!

Yeah in at trucktec just now. Cab has to come off to go on the jig. Fingers crossed it straightens out ok. Stuck with it for another 6 years, so if it leaks and doesn’t seal round the doors I’ll be seriously peed off

Not so much a new truck but new colour scheme looks good.(ps ignore the iveco hire while merc was in for mot)
