Is that top pic taken at the Tesco hub in Livingstone? The Reg of that yellow DHL motor is very similar to one I drove based in Bellshill
What contract are those yellow Volvos and Scanias on at Bellshill?
I only did one night shift from DHL bellshill and it was for a trunk job of Land rover parts. Didnt know they had any Scanias up there,thought it was all volvos.
DHL Thetford had the Scanias new, at the same time aDHL depot up in Scotland had a fleet of Fhs, but there was or is a place the Scots go where the FHs are too high as they have ridiculously highroof spoilers, so they swapped 3 of their FHs with 3 of Thetfords Scanias (which also have high spoilers but not as high as Volvos) I don’t know which depot in Scotland it was thou.
DHL at Bellshill used to get Hill Hire to take the top air deflector off some of their hire units. I’m sure I remember one of their drivers telling me it was so they could get into the Sauchiehall shopping centre.

Huntingdon have now got rid of all there Volvos bar 1 or 2. And replaced them all with 15 plate Scania’s.

Lucky you, all the ones I had could barely do 52 & fitted with so much aftermarket non standard equipment it was unreal, made the whole thing unpleasant to drive or even look at[emoji49][emoji49][emoji49]

Bit disappointed it doesn’t have the LED running lights and the new style diesel tank without that stupid fold down step like the other 15plates from TOM.[emoji20] [emoji20]. But could be worse…could have been a DAF.[emoji3] [emoji3] [emoji3] [emoji3]
