Sorry then mate, can’t help. My technical expertise extends as far as a certain way to hold an Apple device to get the pics the right way up.
You could try holding the phone the four different possible ways and posting the results (deleting the wrong way up ones) but that’s me out of ideas!

On a samsung you need to take them with the phone in the upright position

well Girls, I did take that pic in the upright position,
and when I have taken them sideways - I have sent them to the PC, turned 'em round & saved them upright,
then when I have uploaded them to this site - they have come out lying down ■■?
All this tech stuff is beyond me - I must find a school kid to sort it out !!
