It says on Flickr that there in J&G Riddells yard at Knock.

Postcode for the location is AB54 7LL

Fascinating photos at Riddell’s yard. Looks like most of the Romantiek fleet have ended up there! Shame really as some were lovely trucks in their day. At least the other t-cab was saved and restored!!

Interestingly there’s another ex Romantiek t-cab seemingly living in Riddell’s yard, it was a UK regd one that seems to be in running order - t cab | t cab at back of riddell's yard at knock | squidward71 | Flickr

Looking at Google Streetview, i can see 3 of Romantiks in there, theres an old F88 too

There’s a T cab on EBay at the moment. 144 V8 smart looking motor. I once remember seeing it Sheffield a few years ago. This is the item no.180902282012.

That used to pull a scrap trailer, I’m sure it was from the Dudley area.

Does anyone know of J&G Riddel has a website or a email address ?

Would he not have to be very careful over length limits?

No need to be patronising, I thought those boxes brought an artic pretty close to length limits with a cabover, let alone a T-Cab…

sorry, i didn’t realise that i was patronising you

if you put a standard 45’ trailer on the back, then it would be overlength, but, the container is the load, not part of the vehicle or trailer

if you lift the container off the trailer, it is well within length

this is not meant as patronising, it is meant as an explanation for those who are not aware of the length regulations

Sorry, I think it was the smiley that made it seem that way, or I’m just a jumpy buggar at times

Didn’t realise the box didn’t make part of the trailer.
