This was “Remapped” to 500hp. It hardly ever pulls the drag nowadays so it’s a [zb]’ flyer !

Goaty, I know he also runs a couple of big horsepower volvos, I think one of them is over 600bhp as well??

Out of interest, any idea why he got rid of all the flash new scanias and held on to the old blue/silver trucks??

PS - the number plate on this - is the truck ex JTS transport of Southampton by any chance??

I’ve had a go in most of them at one time or another, the volvo’s and the V8 scanias. Very nice. As to why Mr H got shot of most of them I would say it has something to do with the state of container volumes/rates nowadays.

I remember being told by John that the T-cab was bought from a Southampton firm that ran in white and green.

On a similar note, does anybody know what happened to these T-Cabbed drawbar units (there were 2 of them), they were sold off by leavesleys back around christmas time, and they seemed to sell pretty quick. Just wondered if they’d been bought by a uk operator or exported■■?
I remember seeing them on the roads many times with 3 axle trailers, they were 164 580’s.
Thanks.

Looking behind those side skirts you can see why that company got into trouble.

Mark, there’s a few threads if you search on the company name on here that tell you about the history, but I really don’t think we want another discussion on them as they’re long gone now - enough said. It’s just that the thread was about t-cabs and I was wondering where these beauties had gone, and if anyone in the uk was doing them up - nothing more. Cheers.

Not too sure about the look of this, seems to needs skirts for a 4x2 to look right!

Yeah, I agree, that doesn’t look right! They look kinda top heavy without skirts.
