seems to me that they will close it anyway whether we like it or not 
business is business and property is worth more than a ■■■■ smelling lorry park.
in fact what big ones are left.

dont get me wrong i used to like alconbury and my lorry couldnt go past without swerving in and there was always someone coming or going that i knew and il be sorry to see it go … but it will.

Even for those of us who avoid paying to park this sort of stuff matters - the knock on is that for every wagon that can’t find a truckstop, that’s one less layby or industrial estate spot left for us hermits. And as someone who’s been gassed just down the road from this very spot, even I feel safer behind a fence along that corridor.
keep alconbury open …close silveys chippenham instead…10 ruddy quid for the honour of parking a truck that dont belong to me + another £2 for the showers and i wouldn’t have fed that spicey beef dinner to next doors dog ( and trust me i cant stand next doors dog) ((though it would probably taste better than the spicey beef)) …Of course i could have gone for option b leigh delamare
