Got to get on nights coming you have all heard that on PG,s. I done a load to europe with the crowd from Braintree. Cant remember where. Hows the form Mud.

Hmmmmmm, If the devil cast his net on here, hed certainly get a netful    The one thing about P.G he pops up in the most unexpected places, I worked in South Africa for a bit, and was in bar with a friend, she introduced me to her brother, he started rabbitting on about trucks in U.K and a bloke he was trying to contact, couldnt get to him etc etc, and that man was P.G, so I rang him there and then, got me some good good brownie points with my friend

Few weeks ago, I was driving a machine on a site in Palmerston North, got talking to a brickie from Manchester, usual chat where u from etc etc, he said his mate was from Glos so had a chat to him and turned out he drove for P.G in the eighties too, I se him about town now and again, and will get his name, I think he`s from Winchcombe, the posh end of Glos, some of you real oldies mite know him

Does anyone know what Angus is or was doing. He used to come in my pub in Chipping Norton in the 90’s as he had friends there.
I was on M/E work in the 70’s so it was nice to have a chat with him.

Last I heard Angus was working for Mathews(bv),away 6 weeks at a time.I presume hes still living up north. I hadnt seen him for yrs and Iwas talking to a bloke on boat one day, on about Gilders etc and he said bloke used to work with him worked for Gilders, his name was Gus,didnt register, and I said öh a few have worked for him and a few more have said they have, anyway after about a hour on the coffee talking suddenly I realised,Gus -Angus, it couldnt be, anyway it was, wouldnt give me Angus No, so gave him mine, and within a day he rang me, and we met up in Spain, then again back in U.K. Last I heard he parked up in PGs yard to got to a wedding in B-o-W.
I have tried to txt him on the No I got but no reply,I expect he`s ok,he is a survivor

john.d.m

thanks for that info, the old chap that Angus used to visit in Chippy died a good few years back so I guess he had no reason to come back.
But good to know he’s still clocking a few miles up.
Rather him than me.
Rather anybody but me, the way things are on the road these days.
Take care and thanks again
