About the number plates: cracking one up in Edinburgh for the courtesy van of a lap-dancing bar (the van that picks up stag parties etc and takes them to the venue, not that i would know

a lot of tractor units have plate on nearside now. Its so the camera can see the number in case we “forgot” to put the trailer plate on !!
