Peak District.

A few of my old workmates/running mates cluttering up the countryside there, wish that I could have been with them!

Brilliant photos as usual, John.

Thanks ROF much appreciated.

Walkers transport ,imo was the smartest tipper fleet around here ,S643MRA probably being driven by old man knocker .
image.jpegpaul Hallows has complained that I’ve not put enough pics on here recently so today I’ll drop some on .

I can remember Walkers running the LV ERFs and seeing them at the garage at Cromford in the early 80s.
Me old man did quite a bit from Ballidon when driving for Trumix and we were forever dropping down the Gellia on our way to Matlock when the new FineFare was being built. There were some decent old sheds flying around back then from the likes of Middle Peak and Ogdens etc :sunglasses:

i think this is Tim Marshall ,perhaps at the end of the D road ?

image.jpegone for Barn Rat ,I know he looks on here from in the closet

Now don’t go getting ‘Barny’ all excited Dan, he is at a delicate age you know! At least he kept to the left hand side of the road unlike old man Spencer who liked the centre of the cab on the white line! Made it a thrill a minute following him down the Via Gellia, at least he cleared a path for you, but meeting him head on was a different matter! :open_mouth:
