Hi Dean, Great info and pictures of Elddis Transport. I seem to recall a transport company quite a few years ago
that was called Siddle C.Cook. Somebody mentioned that it was re-named to Elddis if you take a squint at the
reverse spelling. Was I dreaming ? Was somebody winding me up ? or perhaps it was true ■■

Best wishes to you and yours for 2021.

Cheers, Ray Smyth.

Not had a Rhys Davies motor on for a while.

Not likely to be any new ones either, by the sound of it, since they went into administration earlier this month. It seems that the new owners who bought it last year, aren’t actually supporting it

Yeah bad news Chris. :frowning:

Rhys Davies Logistics was acquired by Cathay Investments Limited as recently as October 2019, and operated alongside other Cathay businesses such as Amethyst Logistics. This was the scene at the industrial estate in Wellesbourne yesterday, near Amethyst’s warehouse:

Dean , as Rhys Davis went bust at the beginning of December , why aren’t they all in the auctions already
I reckon they’ve got plans for those units , trailers and rigids
It must be cheaper to just relivery a truck that they own than buying or leasing a new

Sent from my truck

We took a contract of theirs we only had it a week we give it away it was taken on and not looked into properly we couldn’t do it as for auction they can’t sell any off as cathays own them ,and half the trucks are rough not looked after the ones in taffs well were just patched up and put back out

were back in the 70’s/80’s in Nevada where this pic was possibly taken ■■
