Hi dean. the “bit” on the chassis of bradshaws trailer is the grain sock. it fits on the grain hatch on the tailboard to direct the grain in to where ever your tipping, and to keep the dust down abit, it rides on the chassis when not in use.
Normally they are only about a foot long, with the rest made up of canvas type material so they fold up inside the metal bit, hope you can understand my rambleings dean!!!
Punchy Dan:

Hello ArcDaz ^^^^^. I notice that we’ve had several posts from you in which you quote all the previous posters but then you don’t say anything yourself. All you have to do is click on the QUOTE panel and then when all the writing comes up, start your own post AFTER all the writing. The last word is always ’
’ so start your first sentence after that . Hope that helps. Cheers, Robert
Thank you Robert for your tip i am trying to get use to this know cheers Darren

Thanks for your rambling Barry,i had forgotten about them. Remember seeing them now although alot of bulkers
never seemed to use them.
