Hi Steve,I’ll bet those burgers are the “just take it’s horns off and wipe it’s arse” type.

I saw this between Limoges and Angouleme and as I passed could not take in what it was until I saw the still later. My first impression was that it was a wagon and drag, but then I thought, couldn’t be, he wouldn’t get round bends. :unamused:

Oops! At first sight I thought he had hit the kerb and taken off, but on later sight on seeing what may be skid marks on the kerb I reckon he slid sideways up the barrier. Whatever it was, a bit of a shocking moment for the leery sod.

Now, what is this, a long 6 wheeler with living quarters towing a centre axle drag with the bus on? Or a long tractor etc. but with a short semi and bus?

Either way, an unusual combination and, I assume, some sort of exhibition outfit. Unless someone knows differently.

Edit, just noticed the Magnum behind it, that looks a bit strange too. :astonished:

well, for what it’s worth I think the yank look’s like it’s pulling a flat trl with accomadation built on it with a cut out in it to enable the bus to nose up to it.
the magnum look’s like a rigid with a bogey towing one of those fancy fifth wheel campers…

Something strange about at least the Atkinson Dan,it looks like a model, perhaps Photoshopped or something!?!?

I think you could be right, on both counts, at first I thought that if that was the case the front of the trailer was a bit close but then realised that perhaps a fairing on the back of the cab just makes it seem so.

As to the Magnum, I never even saw that until I was posting the picture here. I wonder if they were both in the same convoy.

Thanks to stevejones and Spardo for the pics   and others for the craic  .

Put this gal on the Foden topic but no comments. Does anyone know what’s what? Cheers Coomsey

That looks similar to the cabs that the Aussies fitted to the Atkis . Possibly an Aussie built Foden ?
