Buzzer, seeing the maroon B double made me remember Bon Marche? Is that right? I know they closed the doors a few years ago.

That one’s a Lawrence Transport example, a very tidy Kenworth fleet based in Bathurst. They’ve been around since the 80s, so must be doing something right.

Thanks SDU. I knew that wasn’t one of Bon Marche’s I just wondered if I’d remembered the name right.
What was the difference between the Warriors and the Invincibles? Was it engine size? I had an Invincible 8 wheeler, cracking cab way ahead of its time.
Nice picture of Rogers’ in the snow. They go back a long way, are they still going?

Yeah mate, I realized you knew it wasn’t Bon Marche, I assumed they came from the old dart.
The Dock Road in Liverpool in 1956. The mobile crane lorry is involved in the dismantling of
the 7 mile long Liverpool Overhead Railway, which closed toward the end of 1956. The lorry
looks like an Austin, showing the name of NESTLES, seems strange for carrying chocolate bars.
