Hi Dennis, When I worked for Robert Baillie & Co Ltd in the early 1970s, delivering Guernsey Tomatoes
to Dockers at Carlisle was several times a week. They were at an Industrial estate not far from the TV
studios of Border Television. On the way back, we delivered to Dockers in Kendal, we always assumed
that Dan, the chap in charge was from the Docker family. Nearby was the Ribble bus depot/garage.
Cheer, Ray.
I used to deliver to Dockers in the 50s when their depot was in Carlisle, I cant remember the name of the street, But do remember its was a one way street. They were right at the end . IIRC it was near Patternoster Row. Larry.

A lorry that looks a bit like a Foden, in collision with a Wigan Corporation Leyland PD1 bus
on the A49 in Wigan town centre. The signwriting on the lorry shows Russell, Leith. I assume
that it is part of the large Russell of Bathgate fleet of vehicles. Picture from Wiganworld.
