I collected a few trucks from there in the 80’s for our Tilcon quarry, usually after they had been on display at Tipcon at Harrogate.

Buzzer’s transporter photo took me back to Dover 1964ish and loading these Fiat 500s a pain in the rse to start, if I remember rightly the choke was a small pull lever between the front seats, the knack of correct amount I didn’t ever master. The two loads I did from Dover were for a dealer in Newcastle whose name I can’t rmember but was right by St James Park football ground.
