Hole borer? Possibly a specialist device for boring in stone rather than soil. It looks as though the tip is resting on an old tyre, perhaps to protect the tip? I am, of course, guessing its use!

Best wishes for 2021 to all.

Yes that sounds about right Dipster, tungsten carbide tipped for drilling through rock or concrete.

An old Dennis truck which is for sale K4 1/2 on internet, Buzzer.

Is that the same one that Dan posted on here as being sold a while ago, it went for very little money?

Pete.

That happens a lot with vintage engines as well Dan ! :unamused: That’s still a nice little truck for somebody, I thought it was only a three tonner but I see it’s on eight stud wheels so I guess it will be a seven ton model? Would look a lot better without the ‘load’ though, and I assume that you wouldn’t need a LGV licence either going by the age of it?

Pete.

Scania for a change, Buzzer

Morning Oily,
One for you here, leaving the Jensen factory in West Bromwich,

That would be interesting to drive in tight spots Pete! :open_mouth:

Some of the ergo cabs had skylights for checking the overhang in tight spots, not on the firm I worked for.
A doddle Patrick  :sunglasses: had this for two years from new then a Ergo Mercury with a similar trailer for a year.

Great pic Oily, I guess you got used to it after a while?

Tried to find more info by going to the website that you can see on the door of the KW, but that directs you to a campsite? Maybe a special campsite for people who like to dig holes…? I mean, there are campsites for people who like to be ■■■■ all day too…

Buzzer:
Soon these tractor units will be longer than the trailers they pull   Buzzer.

How is that even road legal in France? As I very much doubt that he’s got a special permit for the length? I wouldn’t mind a bit of extra space though…

It’s nice eh? Shorter trailer?
