Parking on the kerbs

aranger:
I get a kick out of seeing how many slabs I can break.

oh i’ve done that before   but the council has either not noticed or cant be arse to replace them as they are no danger to the public. i cant do it anymore though as i pulled up to drop and traffic warden saw me and he ran to see me like his was in the 800m to tell me if i parked there i would get a ticket :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: got away with it for 2 years but no more, now i have to to the righr reverse up the alley way instead :exclamation: :exclamation:

so am i right in saying then legally we are better off just stopping on the road with hazards on rather than park half road half kerb so traffic can still get through   fine with me. :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing:

Simple if your there for an hour thats an extra 30 road tax you have since you only got half the wheels parked on the road total that up over the year and you could get a few extra days

Rick B:
Could you culprits please explain to me why you park half on and half off the road? In tight industrial areas I accept it is sometimed necessary but on a normal road or side road you are still causing an obstruction and others still can’t get by so why do it?

I’m parked right now near Goole and there is a container parked with 6 wheels on the path, it’s one way and loads of room :open_mouth:

Parking is a real bug bear of mine and I won’t even start on those that take up 2 bays :imp:

You want to be in my town every morning down Griffin Lane in Aylesbury you have upto 4 or 5 scrap trucks artics and ridgids wanting to go into ASM scrap yard they take the whole pavement up my wife has to use the road to get round them when she said something to one of them he told to ■■■■ off so she made a complaint to ASM which the bloke was very nice and said he would sort it but they stiil do it :imp: :imp: :imp:

Suedehead:
…Couldnt be arsed to drive onto chocks like our continental cousins

Use a pyramid of 3 rolled up straps. I saw a guy in Cardiff west and wondered WTF  When he drove onto it, all became clear and I had to smile and give him the thumbs up
