On my Digi, I set the mode to POA if I’m going to be hanging around for a while & prefer not to have a break at that time. I’ve noticed my tacho changes the mode to show Rest on the screen after 15 minutes.
Does this still count as P.O.A or do I accept the 15 min break it’s decided to change to??
Another spot I found myself in recently was having to take a 45 minute break & then drive 6 minutes back to the yard. I’d have got away with less than 6 minutes had I not had to stop on both sets of lights between the spot I took this break & the yard but I thought it best to stop. Was I right??
I’m learning fast with this digi now, I crawl up to traffic lights without stopping if I can & this saves me quite a lot of time but I didn’t bother trying this after taking a break almost within walking distance of my tea. It was annoying to have to do so but there we go.

You need to make a record on a printout of what has happened and amend the activity recorded accordingly.

If you’re crawling upto traffic lights to try to save minutes then you seriously need to revise the way you are working and thinking.
