Mrs Rocket has already been to the Harry School of Snaps!!
But I thought the camera was digital…?
This one;
Camera make: Zoran Corporation
Camera model: COACH 1.0
Hi Harry
Ron is waiting to get a good digital camera, the one we have is not very good for what he wants to take,ok for taking the kids etc.so i will have to scan his photos when i finally get them developed when i remember to take the film with me.
Yeah I graduatated from the Harry School of Snaps
take care all

You can scan with Picasa. You scan one, then the next & so on. And only then do you press the Import All button. That way you keep them in an album instead of small individual folders
Thank you Harry,it is a good job your on here
I feel mighty obliged, Ma’am! ( Strains of’ ‘Land of Hope & Glory’ in the background )
PS .When you scan .Press the Pre-Scan button to set the size of the snap & then the Scan button. If the rest are all the same size then go straight to Scan.
I will try that when i finally remember to take them to get developed

I’ll let you know about these ice roads later. I’m heading North to join the team tomorrow or Saturday. Hoping to get through the work, not through the ice.
There are some really good guys up there. Hopefully they will show me the way to do it all so I get back nice and safe.
First BFS expat to go on the winter roads I understand. A signal honour!
BTW. Have you shovelled the recent snowfall up yet? I spoke nicely to the charming young lady in the office and her husband came down with his snowblower. Nice clear driveway until I got up this morning. And I had just shovelled the path last night!
Hi Bob
Hope you have a safe journey,Ron said he might go next year,so you can let him know what it’s like(see if i will get as bald as him if he ever does get up there )
take care

Hi Roy
Pity your wife won’t come over here, have you showed the pics to her? Maybe if you came over for a holiday, she may change her mind,do you think Ron wanted to come here years ago,but i didn’t want to,then i got sense and i am glad,it’s the best thing we’ve done.
Glad you like the photos.

Hi All
Just a quick update on things here in not so sunny today manitoba, today is the last day of winter,we thought the snow was dissapearing and it snowed on sunday we all said we never thought we would hate snow, the kids are getting fed up too.
while we freeze in manitoba(-9 today quite warm really )Ron is in Texas roasting(+20) he will be in for a shock when he gets up here,i told him to bring the warm weather back with him.
Well we are in the middle of house hunting,so i have been busy looking, seen a few nice ones and some not so nice.
I shall go now and will be in touch soon
take care all

Tell him to wait a few days before heading back, then. We need another week or two of winter. The roads are getting a mite slippery now.
Well Ron had to stay in Texas a few days cos his lorry broke down,he has a reload to come back to steinbach,so might get to see him sometime next week .
kids are off next week for spring break, wahoooooo.
