Had my trial run today and I am on for nightshift from tomorrow Monday - Friday 10:60 per hour for agency but Potters have already asked me if I would be interested in coming on for them full time if I like the job. I was with 2 drivers today; one who was self employed, one who worked for potters and they said that they are a good firm to work for! Woo Hoo. Very Happy and it was a pleasure informing the other 3 agencies by text who said I would have to stick to class 2 doing crappy multidrop for them for 7.15 per hour!
Nice one mate. Good Job
well done , so are working for them on agency or gone to work for them direct straight away ?

Agency at the moment but they have already said they will take me on full time. You will notice the time I am posting this as I am off to Coventry in 2 hours time Nice bit of overtime (time and a half). Yes they let agency drivers settle in for about a month to see if they like it and then give them the option to work direct. 3 drivers already work full time and I think I will follow as it seems good experience. The work is all year round mainly food stuffs from and to railway depots and Leeds/Bradford airport. Local day/night runs to UK cities but hardly any nights out which suits me.
This company recently bought out House of James and doubled their fleet. They mainly specialise in ADR and bulk, I am on curtain siders at the moment, may do ADR later if things go well.
