Kempston:
Yet another bus jousting, this time losing to a car transporter.

I knew a transporter driver who managed to put a brand-new Mk111 ■■■■■■ through the upstairs showroom window of a furniture store at a tight town centre junction. Luckily there were no injuries and no damage to the car, but a couple of leather suites were “written off” (yeah, OK, I’ll have one and you can have the other, tell the insurance they went in the skip) due to being covered in broken glass. He found another job pretty quickly too.

“Thanks to the cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence Hazard Detection and Prevention System (AIHDPS) fitted to this new farm tractor and trailer, a serious accident was averted when the trailer sensed that it was too tall to pass under the bridge. The advanced technology allowed the trailer to lay down to pass safely under the bridge, righting itself afterwards with no action needed from the lorry driver”.

If only…

Probably just in great need for a drink. This building must have been strongly built; most others would have at least partly collapsed in such conditions!
This is how the place looks like today.

Since the middle of last week, opening of Trucknet.uk and its different threads is at the best very long and most of the time impossible. Am I the only one to encounter this problem? Thanks.

No, there have been problems for the best part of last week, Must say, the site seems to be running normally this morning.

edit, No it isn’t, there’s still a problem.

Thanks! It looks it’s just back to normal; an hour ago, it wasn’t yet. Trucknet.uk is just like my morning cup of tea: an addiction!
