Cant fathom out whats going on there. Is that a flatbed trailer, with rams fitted ?I think i have seen skelly trailers with rams but they would have been at the front , and lifted the whole trailer. . . if that makes sense

I’d say it’s the tipper on the right that’s hit the bridge, and the flat bed has come to recover it ?
Hi there if you look to the right of the unit there’s a lorry with the remains of twin hydraulic rams parked. It looks like the artic is waiting for a crane to lower the body down on to it Cheers Ray

Used that road many times before the A46 was built. Some good Resto Routiers between there and the Tunnel Fauviere, at that time, on street parking. All wt limits except for access now of course.
The overturned tank trnasporter picture bring back memories as a childof the Eagle comics whichI had handed down. Around about 1962 there was a weekly feature called Only the Brave which told the sory of various British Empire Medal and George Medal recipients. The one which has always stuck in my mind was about a runaway Mighty Antar and tank. Thr story claimed that the engine reache such a speed on the gradient that the flywheel exited via the drivers cab injuring the driver, who eventually steered it off the road.
ED to add…The driver standing there…(I assume it is a genuine piccie)
If the back pins let go…the truck would swing down and forward…more weight on the front pins…aaaand the the truck lands…
