Great pic of the F7 there Mark it looks a lot better there than when we had it as a shunter at Throckley.

Those old Simpson photos look very much like the ones young Phillip Minto borrowed off Peter Simpson and never returned

Thanks for the Vanhee trio Marcus, the A Series ERF was the shunter and used by the workshop for trailer MOT’s, it got nicked and they never saw it again, lovely little motor, not sure now but I think they got it from CPS. The other two Scania’s I’m not sure about the drivers could have been Ronnie Campbell or Eric (Woosh) as they are G Reg 113’s. The Transcon could have been mine WOK 158T seeing as its got a flat on! Only kidding. I’ve got a good VanHee portfolio of about 35 pics now thanks to this site and I never had one before joining, goes to show how good this site is and overall must be the best example of British road transport history on one website. This thread alone could produce a book on the hauliers of the Northeast as most photo’s are in excellent condition. Anybody got any Ouseburn Transport (Steenburg) pics, I’ve only got one of those too from Bumper, worth a try! Keep it up Cheers Franky.
