Thanks for the update Larry pleased to hear he’s settled down
Well Davey, He seems to have done verywell for himself, Married a very nice ■■■■■■■■ Lass and settled down and drives a Big Merc black with dark tnited windows, When I saw him at Lowdons he looked very well, So good luck to him for the future, Take care and stay safe, Larry.
I know Ive posted this very fine shot of Baxters wagon and drag, But I learnt a lot when I was trailer boy in 1956 , 21 years old raring to go at 32 MPH Flat out with very poor brakes, Larry.

Hi Larry, in 1964 Crows had two new AEC Mercury Artics and two Mandators. Followed by a Leyland Badger then an Ergo Mandator before switching to Guys. Before the Artics he had quite a few 4 wheel Mercury’s, he also bought four 8 wheeled Fodens from Ranks flour in Gateshead. All his new lorries had the number 7 in the registration as did his car!
You certainly stir up some good memories for me.

Should have been sheeted!!
yep… some thought the sheet was just for protection against the elements… but it done a great job for containment of the load…

Good Evening Larry,
Just looking at the photo of your motor with the long trailer behind it, is it a 45 ft York ?.
We had one at John Raymond when I worked there in the seventies.
