I think you are referring to Burgins and they packed up some years ago

Bassman

That’s them, some powder tanks if I remember. Cheers

Burgins used to have that strato with a powder tankers i think then bought one of rugby cements old erf’s and put a tag axle on it. I think he packed up shortly after that.
Heres a photo of Russ Fenwicks current truck, and a photo of his powder tank.

Scania 27

Keith Burgin got quite a few trucks off Rugby, some Foden 8wheelers ,one or two S/A 6wheeler flats as well. He had about 3 or 4 ERF,s,
There is a picture of 2 of them on the ERF trucks thread on Flickr

That Scania of yours looks as if it,s almost finished, how long before we see it on the road, or has Bert claimed it?

Bassman

I can only remember burgins strato to be honest, and ive taken it to shows last year part restored going to do the same in 2015, theres alot more to do to it before its finished, dad would probably claim it if 40 tonne was still popular haha

It looks like someone is running some lorries from Fosters yard again now but the pub at the railway crossing seems to be closed , so its not Fosters men doing the driving ! Some more photos would be good if you have any , Regards Geoff
