Note the rear wheels turned inwards to allow picking trailers up without smashing the rear lights

For such a large firm, there doesn’t seem to be any Fowler Welch pics on here. I think they looked a lot nicer when they had the blue & white livery rather than the plain white with a sticker as they do today!..

Couldn’t agree more, Rolls TX probably coupled to a twin splitter. I know many vehicles are leased and contract hired today and painting is very expensive but don’t you think many companies and probably transport in general has lost the image and individuality that a good paint jobs gives. Is that just being old fashioned ?

I think the plane on the lorries is a Lancaster bomber. If you ask graham I’m sure he’ll tell you more. grahamA
