Sorry to hear about the trouble’s you have had with Volvo. 
500 miles covered b4 you get into truck surely then the driver would/should have noticed at least some of the problems. 
Loan of a truck…have they never heard of hiring a vehicle for you at their cost,or a demo vehicle ( which most dealers have in their depots)
Personnelly i’d have phoned their head office and spoke to them.
