I would go THIS WAY.When you cross into Germany at Perl there is a parking area with a Maut machine.
Stuttgart is a bit of a hellhole for trucks. Trucks are banned from within the area bordered by the A8, A 81, B10 and B313 unless you are actually delivering within that area.
Also the B10 and B313 have a 60km speed limit for trucks in the interests of saving the planet and there are loads of cameras to catch miscreants.
I usually get me tax a arlon its quieter a close to the parking area and when you come of for perl were it drops from 3 to 1 lane for the roundabout can be a pain esp in rush hour

If in a tautliner trailer depending what the load is, it has to be strapped down and secured, if in a fridge the back of the load with some bars is ok.
The ratchet straps must show the labels, no tears on the straps. They must be able to take the weight of the load, marked on the label.
The freight forwarder or shipper gets a fine too, along with the driver and the employer.

don’t forget anti-skid matting, no empty space in between the pallets and if the cargo requires (paper rolls for example), it has to be strapped down in a fridge as well

That will help with route planning no end.
The OP has not been for a while and was after some tips.I was trying to save the driver fines and being delayed. He did not ask for directions.

I stand corrected…
Personally i go lux perl saarbrucken pirmasens across b10 to landau then karlsruhe and stuttgart
Have tried trier etc but overall i find this best route for fuel tolls quickness
Some sat navs will take u a6 at saarbrucken signposted karlsruhe ignore carry on to pirmasens alot quicker
And if not been for a while get fuel in lux at services 3.5 t limit to come off any junction and they do get out fining you
Went into windhof total other week luckily they had 3 stopped and i drove past
And went old way into belgium from total garage after just incase
Cheap fuel at Capelon.Habay truckstop in Belgium is a good stop.Good food.Hotel there. And meat skewers a foot long.Starters of soup and cold buffet.Stews and casseroles.Steaks and puddings.
