Oh so it’s you that brought the British weather over is it!
Glad to hear you got what you wanted from your visit.
I’m dossing around in Calgary myself tomorrow morning as my load isn’t ready until lunchtime, parked myself close to Starbucks ready for my morning coffee
The trip has been worth it’s weight in gold, and I bit of an eye opener, especially into how some of these firms operate, i am off moose and bear hunting up the 1a up to lake Louise tomorrow should be interesting, the locals in Banff said we should see something up there.
Out of interest does anyone know if gibsons or plains have Lmos I have seen a lot of these guys about just in case things don’t go as hoped?
From what little I know Gibsons are mostly O/O or small fleets.

Plains are just the same , plenty of work but no LMO’s .
Thanks guys just found out I might have a different option, the wife’s job has come up on the new federal skilled worker programme, and you get pr straightaway looks abit like the one for oz where you have to get points, there are 50 positions new to the list with a thousand openings for each.

I might be wrong but pretty sure that you can’t get PR straightaway with any job, skilled or not, I think you will still have to go through the process, unless you mean you can apply straightaway ?
And if you come out under your wife, that then allows you an open WP which is a brilliant opportunity for you.
From what I have read there a cap of 1000 applications per job unless you have a job to go then you skip the queue, I am just waiting for westcan to get their Lmos and then we will be out, it seems the quickest way and maybe try the other process when we come out.
