I think they will be looking for a lot more drivers soon cos I heard Morrisons are starting online shopping in early 2014 and Ocado have been awarded the contract to carry out the home deliveries for them.

Think you’re getting mixed up mate, I passed my car test in April, and am leaving it a bit until I get my heavy goods training (When finance allows it ofcourse :laughing: :laughing: )

I did it when they first started in Hemel Hempstead. We covered north London / St Albans etc. I really enjoyed it, although some of the apartments in Sloane square in a Friday night at 9pm were fun to park at!! lol

I think it’s changed a bit now and they don’t do double man like we used to but I did well from tips and the vans were decent. They did limit the amount of water one customer could order as it was getting silly with weight.
I only left the Hatfield depot ( they moved from Hemel) as they couldn’t insure me to drive the HGV’s after I passed. This has now changed and the have put my friends through the test since.

Good luck, the hours can be a bit strange but what’s not in the food delivery business these days!!

You’re right. Operated by Ocado but vans will be in Morrisons livery.
