More bad news, one of my nieces, about 70/72 has just had a scan because her legs kept giving way, has a tumor on the brain ,also on her liver. :frowning: :frowning: :frowning: On the trip front daughter still wants to go, but on the train, just like I suggested over a month ago, she said she well rest more than at home.

Sad old time for you and your family Norm. Lets hope you get some better news in future.
Cheers Dave.

Well we are in Blackpool,   even the Daughter said it was a nice trip, changed at rugby and Preston, 2hr 50m trip, yesterday was windy, but today the sun is still shinning. Worn out after taking daughter and granddaughter to town center, wife is having a kip, I am sitting on the extra bed looking out the window at the north pier, refreshing my self on the net.

Glad you are having decent weather Norm. A bit of all sorts this way, one minute sunshine, the next thundery rain.
Suppose to be wet here tomorrow, then a heatwave for a couple of days.
Enjoy your break.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
There you go Dave, Old Norm getting decent weather disproves the old saying
that the sun only shines on the righteous, still waiting for rain here, it has had
a go but nothing of any consequence although Newcastle and Sunderland have
had a few torrential downpours over the last few days, I’m going to be a bad
lad and see if I can get a drop of rain here I hate using the watering can.
thanks harry, long retired.

We have had plenty of rain here Harry, all that needs watering here is the greenhouse and the hanging baskets which are under the eves of the bungalow. The rest of the flowers etc get plenty of sky juice.
Norm is a bit of a prophet, he knows what the weather is going to be.
Cheers Dave.

We had good weather all week, had a shower when in the theatre on north pier, Wizard of Oz at 2.00pm, but the . rest of the time it was warm & sunny.I have eight water butts, and all but one was empty, but the thunderstorm before I went to Blackpool and after I came back have filled all of them up.

me because of poor pay in those countries.
