You have never seen cars parked on double yellows. Pedestrian crossings, hatched areas with a solid white line etc etc etc? Signs are ignored by the selfish and it isn’t up to any business to teach people to drive.
Of course we see people parked illegally all the time & such people have no leg to stand on should they be caught causing an obstruction. At least the presence of double yellows/hatched markings in the area would at least indicate that it should be kept clear & they do deter the majority, the absence of any markings at this store leaves the area wide open for opportunistic people, unaware of access issues for HGV’s, to try and park their car for free. I do not think this woman was being selfish, just unaware. She innocently screwed up and ■■■■ hit the fan, it’s not as if she was parked in the middle of the bay.
The whole incident was just one of them things in my opinion.
It beggars belief that it can take 2 weeks just to fit a drop glass in the driver’s door. Any of the national windscreen companies would replace it in a matter of hours.
Silly me! I was forgetting about the scratch on the wing. Hasn’t she got a lipstick to match?
Pitty the driver. Plenty of room to do it blind side if he only knows how to drive it in reverse… ( unless she’s been parked in the bay area which I assume wasn’t the case.

Please link the pics so we can see the pre shifted position of the abandoned car.
If the car was parked where those orange barriers were I suggest the lorry driver sends his licence back to the DVLA as he’s obviously incompetent, there is chuffing loads of room there, ■■■■ me sideways, wants to come and drive at our place that’ll open his eyes, I have wet dreams about good side reverses with room like that!
On another note 4k for a fiesta what did she pay it in? Rubles? It was only about 8k new!
Clear case of crimminal damage to me.
Looking at where the car was parked (obviously the plastic bollards have been moved for the picture) and the fact the steering lock was on when they moved it, I would say that the delivery driver was unable to blindside reverse into the loading bay either due to other obstructions or a lack of talent.
Reckon she will get a nice little payout from this and rightly so.
I’m also doubtful where she parked was even on Aldi property.
Is there not a law or something that says UR not to park within a certain distance to a corner. Car park for shoppers only she was not it’s not up to the aldi staff to ask around every shop/house etc in town to find her. What they should have done was block her in that would have been the last time she would do that again. Also 2 pallet trucks with empty pallets on them under the car would have lifted and moved the car with no damage to it. But hey Ho I’m only a so called professional driver what do I know

Elf and safety.
Also Aldi is self tip so she’d have to move her own car with the pallet truck
farmfoods in Ilford is a bugger to get to. The loading bay is into the car park, round a tight 90 degree bend and then cut across the access lane round the side of the shop. I was there last week and there was a car parked (not in a space) right next to access lane with a long scrape down the front wing. I wondered if it had been parked blocking the delivery access and a driver and forcibly moved it?
As a driver that delivers to stores over here in the US i can’t help but think good on Aldi , i know they probably only did it because they wanted what was on the lorry and what they did may have been a bit extreme, but still, problem solved. What they’d have done over here more likely is not damage the car but haul it away on a ramp truck and keep it at the towing firms yard till the cars owner ( Miss beauty parlour ) paid for the tow to get it back
Good news everyone.!!! My girlfriend has just been shopping at the Aldi in this part of the world (not the one featured) and all of the lorry drivers have managed to get onto the bays and emptied ok. I therefore now have ice cream in the freezer to keep me cool at the end of the day, coffee to fill my flask and bread to make my sarnies…

That area should have hatched markings on the ground/double yellows to show it should be kept clear. Bottom line is that Aldi had no right to break into her car, it’s criminal damage pure and simple. They had obviously just forgotten to put their barriers out that morning & paid the price, should have paid for a recovery firm to move it properly.
And what significance do hatch markings and double yellow lines have on private property ■■
Why should Aldi pay for recovery ■■? selfish bint should have to pay all costs
From the pic it looks like she was parked on a road not a car park
At the end of the day Aldis sell food that’s all not life n death stuff if the lorry can’t get in due to acsess the stuff would have to be delivered by alternative means ie front door or stuff goes back to Rdc n comes back later I’d love to no how Ud feel if your car window was smashed n damage caused
If Aldis don’t want there acsess blocked they need to educate the minions who drive cars n parking them there by placing appropriate signage markings etc I’m sure if there was bright yellow hatched markings on the floor also it would eradicate the problem
Ok, what I parked 3 inches from your house door ‘BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO SIGNS’ Does common sense not kick in ?

Blimey the rabbit must have had a heart attack when you pulled this one out the hat…I’m no expert but in this wildly exagerated unrelated analogy if the boundary of your property was only 2 inches from your door then you would have no right to do anything. However if your boundary was say 4 inches then you could call on the laws of trespass (which I can’t be bothered to google so I’m winging it a bit) and you could make a claim for damages in the civil courts. You would have no right to perform a crimminal act by way of damaging and foreceably moving the vehicle.
This incident with Aldi will involve a nice juicy out of court settlement for the pretty lady, probably more juicy as she is pretty- its a cruel world but hey hoe…
