DHL

What he said.

PS, There aren’t any jobs going, any spare is taken up by agency drivers, one of whom I am jealous of because he is in Poland this weekend. I wanted a weekend in Poland before I finished but sadly it didn’t happen.

A bit of a twist in the tail there, Neil!!

I am sure you have got something good lined up, so fair play to you and all the best for the future.

I’ve got absolutely nothing lined up, I’m just going to take a bit of time for myself and then decide what I want to do. I’ve just spent the afternoon in the pub with Jimboy124, who worked with me, and stories from work did make me think a little about what I’ve done. But 7 pints of Guinness later I was over it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I tried to hang up the keys a few years ago and went to work in an office.
But it proved impossible to sluice the old diesel out of the veins. The lure of the open road was too strong and I was back in the saddle 2 years later

So will “Line haul boy” be let loose further afield in Europe now that you’ve left?
I follow his exploits with interest as he seems to spend most of his time texting Lynne Duffus on BFBS

He doesn’t want to do much more than line haul and be away longer as he has a two year old daughter who is the nicest kid you could ever meet. She has the looks of her mother with the heart of Jim which is about the best combination possible. He did do a Hamburg a couple of weeks ago but I think he got a nosebleed.

You’re right, he does spend a lot of time texting Lynne, he has a BFBS sticker on his truck, I think he’s a fan. :stuck_out_tongue:

:astonished:
Good Luck Neil

Still can’t believe this might be the last diary - I’ll have to bookmark the old ones for reading again

Hope you still contribute on here

I was in the DHL depot ahead of you as you came to the roundabout to turn left into Booker’s.
