Non, Je ne Regrette Rien - A Diary

Cheers for that i’ll have a look on amazon whats the title of book.

Thanks for the diaries Neil, good luck in what ever you choose to do next. I could never understand what a bright intelligent man who could write so well was doing still driving lorries for a living. Just like me you will miss the trucks but not the nights out, and long seperation from loved ones. Good luck mate.

Well, from a fellow Scot I wish you every success in the future Neil.
For what it’s worth, I still nosey at the book and videos when the schedule allows.

Many thanks,
Andy.

Thanks Rikki, found it and it has been ordered :grimacing:

I always enjoy a good read and you’ve certainly given me that on many occasions over the years.

My favourite piece of writing from you so far has to be this one.

Long may they continue. Thank you Neil!

Great diary as always. Are they mad using agency drivers to do Europe…

You will have a nice long holiday now i’m sure, you could even do a diary of a trek across South America or something exotic like that, Neil the truck driver turns in to Neil the intrepid explorer, you could even be the next Indiana Jones…

Another good diary, Neil.

All the best books have ‘chapters’ , the best TV shows come back next season, the best films have follow-ups; I’m hoping you are just between ‘chapters’ and am looking forward to the next instalment . . . . . even if we do have to wait for a while!

Thanks for another top write up. Have enjoyed your diaries over the years mate.
All the best.

Can’t do that, I’m over qualified. :stuck_out_tongue:

I gave up driving a year ago, and apart from being ill and having not much money I haven’t missed it, my operation is planned for 26th March.

I don’t honestly want to go back driving and I have been kept busy organising some racing events and rewriting regulations and seminars for the governing body and club. In July we have a world class speedway rider OBE / MBE coming to our event for the prizegiving and signing his new book.

Good luck in what you choose to do. I too have enjoyed your diaries, posts and superb drivers hours knowledge. I have learned a lot and I am sure you have kept many more straight on a thing or too.

Cheers Neil

Very sad news indeed. Hope you now get more time on your hands to keep us entertained with tales of your travels, not many can make a routine trip to Hamburg sound almost adventurous! All the best and good luck with your future plans.

Good read as always Neil - I didn’t expect the twist-in-the-tail at the end :open_mouth: maybe you could take a month out practicing your Bohemian and Interesting look, just in time for the rich widow season in Cannes :bulb: Bon chance
