Got a bit peed off a few weeks ago with sat nav taking me long ways round and down crappy roads etc and decided to go back to using maps.Much better.
I must admit I use google maps on the phone for the last look to see where the street is but that’s it.
I think we are all getting a bit lazy

i still use maps but i dont always carry them so when an unexpected shop comes up (like yesterday) i use google on my work phone to find the address then put it into the satnav on my private mobile and have a look at it before telling it to take me there. occasionally i will use it as an electronic map rather than navigation device though just to confirm i know where i am going. its a back up but maps are my primary method of route planning but in most cases i know where the shops are anyway so i dont carry maps to work any more
