£20 (£10 less than I was on 10yrs ago with a better firm ) all parking paid for, but a moan if over £15 .
If they discover that a meal voucher is included the tight arsed ■■■■■■■■ take it off
I NEVER park in lay bys as I refuse to on principle, but the firm turns a blind eye to those that do (until one of them come a cropper as it is technically against their rules)
£23.93 (!!) plus parking paid, or use SNAP account
25 a night out and parking at either council depots or services (reimbursed) can park in a layby if we want to as it’s unlikely the TGBs will have a load of planings away. However why would you want to
I pay myself the maximum allowable under HMRC’s current rules, £26.18. Also £2 a day meal allowance.
£23.70 n/o plus all parking paid or park outside one of our branches
£20 in UK & £30 outside UK, all parking paid.
£25 per night parking paid if not close to a depot and a meal voucher of a fiver if your working 12 hours or more.
£25 night out
£25 per week meal allowance
They will pay for parking if loaded but quite often we park at delivery or collection address most do have showers all have toilet facilities
we get paid £25 a night but you have to self cater.
we have to park up a hunt kennel we collect from as when we stay in truckstops ect we get moaned at about the smell ( we carry animal by products )
cheers
JP
I think it’s about £19 we get but all our parking money is refunded so would always pay to park thus getting a free meal.
£50 + meal allowance taking it to around £62summat (meal allowance is on a 12 hour basis = 3 meals)
Pay our own parking,
I have only done 1 N/O this year and am quite happy to keep it that way.
£22 + £ 9 night meal £6 day meal all parking paid sometimes twice in a day. And that is how it should be.
Harry look at the 10hr working time part goes up to £10 per day
Can someone enlighten me on SNAP? I did a quick google but no joy.

Yea, I’ve heard that but I’ve never been able to find a reference to it on the HMRC website.

Thanks for that
Drivers can contact Snap to advise them of any new parking sites they find.
Some are transport firms and some you need to book in ahead to reserve a space.
It saves the driver carrying cash to pay for parking.
If you find a parking area please let them know.

The way I see it, is that is you can only claim the £10 if on the day in question you work hours which are NOT part of your regular working day:
eg if you normally do an eleven hour shift and start at 6am every day you can NOT claim the £10 unless on the day in question you start at a different time eg 4am (the meal allowance is due to the inconvenience of starting/finishing your shift at an irregular time).
Also, I don’t think you can claim it on a day which includes a night out (night out money is there to cover the meal allowance) ?
The only clear thing I can find on HMRC website is the £2.00 daily allowance (more if you have a receipt).
If anybody can put me right on these allowances I’d be grateful as what written above is my interpretation of what I can find online ?
Thanks.
