I shall also stop trolling cyclist forums and Mumsnet.
I will endeavour to become a more upstanding member of TNUK.
The only new years resolution I’ve ever kept was decades ago when I vowed never to make any more new years resolutions.

Don’t take too much notice of your BMI, it’s not a very good indication of your fitness level. It doesn’t take bone structure or the muscle amount into consideration no matter what my doctor says. A little over a year ago I weighed over 16 stone and I’m a little over 5’ 9 and my waist was 38’‘. Just before xmas I weighed 14 stone and had a 34’’ waist and my BMI was a bit over 29 which means for the first time in years I wasn’t obese. Actually I have never been obese I am heavily built there is a big difference. BMI was invented in about 1840 by a Belgian called Adolphe Quetelet to judge the general fitness of a group of people, but since the 1970’s the medical profession, in their infinite wisdom, have applied to individuals for which it is not well suited.

I had a feeling that might be the case, but the medical profession constantly banging on about BMI gets on my wick. By the way I meant to add my new years resolution is more of the same, lose more weight and get fitter.
Get the job with ■■■■ Loveit, delivering Ferraris and Maseritis in a puddle jumper but knowing my luck, I deliver a car to Jeremy Clarkson and get a smack in the mouth for the wrong coloured car.
To never drive into London again !!!.
